Currently, America and its allies abroad are being faced with a predicament: how should we handle the conundrum with Colonel Muammar Gaddafi and his reign of terror in Libya amidst the current conflict there? Some argue for a no-fly zone, but that would be expensive. Other insist on economic sanctions, but those would not be very effective. Only one weapon remains: Charlie Sheen
Sophomore Catherine Wertz outlined the grand plan: I feel [that] we should send a team of Special Forces to Tripoli and secretly replace Colonel [Ga]ddafi with Charlie Sheen. It should take at least a week for anyone to notice.” Ms. Wertz’s plan seems impeccable: these two international icons are undistinguishable to the layman. One could even suggest that the duo were separated at birth.
In terms of dialogue, Charlie Sheen and Muammar Gaddafi have shown the incredible ability to cease to amaze viewers. Be it from Gaddafi’s charming panther-track suits and aviator sunglasses or Charlie Sheen’s drug of choice: Charlie Sheen, the two characters are fashionably addicting personalities. According to Indian Express, the web has been filled with debate “over who offers the better entertainment value for their outlandish quotes and in Gaddafi’s case, his unabashed fashion sense” (www.indianexpress.com).
Charlie Sheen has all of the traits of a good leader but is similar enough to the Gaddafinator to facilitate an unnoticeable transition. The mass media reported that rumors are rippling across America over a trade between CBS and Libya: Two and a Half Men will star Gaddafi while Libya will be led by Sheen, since Gaddafi and Sheen both share the desirable trait of “Clinic Narcissism” (www.washingtontimes.com). Sheen’s great health, due to his quality tiger blood, makes him a durable leader. Coupled with Sheen’s wonderful sensitivity towards humans worldwide, comparable to that of the venerable Gregory Lorenzo Ezekiel Stuwart Schlosser, Charlie Sheen is exuding leadership abilities which would make even the USCHS President Anas “Axel” Hoque jealous.
Charlie Sheen is an inspiration for the citizens of the world. Junior Stephanie Ross acknowledged that “He’s my idol.” He has gained some supporters as well. Junior Katherine Snyder supported Sheen, yelling “he’s winning!” Charlie Sheen is the untapped weapon; the Big Bertha; the Devin Ellis of international politics. We cannot lose this magnificent resource.
